What was the problem?
An industry association would like to publish a new flagship report to replace an existing industry report that will soon be discontinued. However, the scope of work and subject matter expertise meant that qualified publishers were difficult to source. The association would like its flagship report to go beyond data and statistics, and champion the interests of its industry.
This was our solution.
Prior to beginning the project, we sat down with our client and had multiple rounds of proposals and discussions to decide on the scope of the publication. We focused on two concepts: turning data into information/knowledge, and establishing a solid industry narrative. A publishing/project committee was then established to provide feedback during work-in-progress. Ultimately, we were able to deliver quality insights and communicate those insights effectively.
